Please wear a Face Mask when visiting the Surgery if you are symptomatic

Unfortunately due to the current situation with the growing number of Flu cases that we are seeing in Hampshire and across the country we have seen many Hospitals, including Basingstoke and Winchester return to the use of Face Masks when patients are visiting.

You will have by now have read or seen on the news something about this years Flu Virus and the spread of it and we would like to protect you as well as be able to continue to provide you with a service you have become used to by protecting our staff. Because of this, we have taken the decision to ask patients who are symptomatic with respiratory symptoms, a cough, sore throat, runny nose or shortness of breath, to please come in wearing a mask. If you do not have a mask to wear, we will be able to provide you with one and we would ask you to wear it whilst you are in the Practice.

If you are eligible for a Flu Vaccination and haven’t had one as yet, then there is still time to get your jab. Just call the Practice on 01420 542542 or submit an online consultation to book your jab to ensure protection.

Thank you for your co-operation and your understanding at this tough time.
